Emmeloord, Netherlands: Nico van Staveren has developed a robot that fills a gas tank. (Please see picture.)
TankPitstop identifies a car on arrival, matches it to a database of fuel cap designs, selects the fuel grade the driver chose on a previous visit, and goes to work.
The cost for one TankPitstop is $111,100 (57,056 pounds, 75,000 euros).
